First Snow Fall

Cardinal in Winter Storm SOLD
This a 6" x 8' Oil on Primed Paper

I love this time of the year. The weather has chilled down and we are beginning to have light snow flurries. The birds have been at the feeder everyday, looking for food. A number of pairs of Cardinals have been here this year. They perch on the branches near the feeder, waiting their turn. Their color stands out so intensely against the dull, brown background of the garden. They always remind me of bright, red Christmas ornaments on the tree. I hope you will come see this and other pieces at the December 17th Holiday Show at the Pendleton Art Center, studio 313. I always look forward to hearing from you.
