Today in Italy visitors will find lavender being cultivated ia similar way to Provence. For years lavender was found only in the garden, but now a small number of farmers in the Tuscan region are swithching to cultivation of the flower. You will find these farms in the plains of the Maremma down to its beautiful coast as well as in the Val d'Orcia hills and Mounte Amiata.
